History : From a plot  of vines on the borders of the river Maine she owes her names to the brook across the estate

Grape varieties : 100 % melon de bourgogne

Colour : dry White

Surface : 108  acres

Age of the vines: 35 years         

soils :  3 soils :Grounds with sandy dominants, granitic rock in 2 micas.

Lime sandy ground, metamorphic rock ortho gneiss.

Sandy lime ground, an underground presenting flint will a silica rock of granit type desagregating.

Tasting notes  : Pale yellow with golden nuances, It reveals white and citrus fruit flavors and a hint of hazelnut. Fruity, fine, elegant, slightly fizzy and an aromatic finish.

Food pairing : Sea food, salmon tartar, scallops “à la bretonne”, fish gratin goat’s milk cheese

History : The wine is harvested on granitic soils called “ les terres de la Templerie”. In the 13th century, Cisterciens monks worked this ground.

Grape varieties : 100 % melon de bourgogne

Colour : dry White

Surface : 12 acres

Age of the vines: 55-65 years    

soils :  Grounds with sandy dominants, granitic rock in 2 micas

Tasting notes  :  Pale yellow with golden nuances, It reveals complexity aromatic, mineral flavors, gun flint and a long smooth finish

Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur Lie

History : This vines are planted along the estate on five hectares of granitic soils. This wine is raised all winter without racking in oak barrels, this frees oxygen for a better release of the oak tannin.

Grape varieties : 100 % melon de bourgogne

Colour : dry White

Age of the vines: 50 years         

soils : Grounds with sandy dominants, granitic rock in 2 micas.

Tasting notes  : .Pale yellow with golden nuances, It reveals vanilla, yellow fruit, butterscotch, grilled bread flavors, its mouthful and has a toasted finish.

Food pairing :  Fish gratin, landaise salad, smoked salmon, raclette, poultry, goat’s milk cheese

Muscadet Sèvre et Maine

These wines were born from a collective work to obtain a recognition of communal cru. A rigorous work has been done in the vineyard and  in the cellar. The quality of this wine has been confirmed by experts which proves that  the soil is exceptional.

 

History : From a plot of vines on the borders of the river Maine she owes her names to the brook across the estate. This wine is raised on its lees during minimum 48 months in closed tank without racking. The lees has stirred every six months for a better complexity aromatic and soil expression.

Grape varieties : 100 % melon de bourgogne

Colour : dry White

 Surface : 2.5  acres

Age of the vines: 70 years         

soils :  Grounds with sandy dominants, granitic rock in 2 micas.

Tasting notes :  Light yellow with nuances of amber yellow, this cuvée reveals a subtle mineral nose, slightly toasted, and a long finish with a hint of white fruit.

Food pairing : Shrimp verrine, seabass brochette, grilled fish, pan fried foie gras, cheese

Fief de l'Ancruère ageing in chesnut barrels

History : This vines are planted on the “Fief de l’Ancruère” on six hectares estate, facing south east. This wine is raised all winter without racking in chestnut barrels, this frees oxygen for a better release of the oak tannin.

Grape varieties : 100 % melon de bourgogne

Colour : dry White

Surface : 14,5  acres

Age of the vines: 20-30 years    

soils : Sandy lime ground, an underground presenting flint will a silica rock of granit type desagregating.

Tasting notes  :  Pale yellow with golden nuances, It reveals grilled, smoked and peaty aromas, its fruity, mouthful and has a grilled chestnut finish.

Food pairing : Sea food, picy fish stew, Périgourdine salad, tartiflette, cow‘s milk cheese, sushi
